The grabbing hands continue

It’s been a while but I need to vent.

After four years and two estate battles, the final nail has been put in the coffin by thieving scumbags. Thank you, that money would have taken my mum on an assisted holiday and more, which may have given her some happiness, because the last four years have put her into a fast decline.

I will reiterate what I said before. Trust no one, family, friend or stranger when it comes to looking after the financial security of your loved ones. Ensure that you have Legal Power of Attorney for both Finance and Property and Health & Well-being, and make a will using a solicitor. Please don’t do it yourself to save a few quid.

Seriously, I am livid. But what can I do? I find myself thinking, ‘What would Bro’ say? I can hear him now,

“Fight for what’s right and do the right thing, but don’t waste your energy if you can’t change the situation. Walk away and be the bigger person.”

It’s four years on Sunday, 14 Jan, since Bro decided to do the right thing and fix the boat to ensure it ran economically, and look where that got him—riding the heavenly waves on his 10’8″ surfboard. Sometimes, you can’t walk away and must stay and fight.
